The healing process is complex, but there are many brilliant people devoted to unlocking its secrets. Personally, I can say with absolute certainty that education has been one of the most important elements in my own healing. In fact, it has saved my life on many occasions. It has been my lifelong obsession with figuring out why I was sick that led me to finally learn how to start the healing process. Even in the times before the internet, I was able to find many others who shared my obsession in medical spaces everywhere. Those who devote their lives to learning to solve the universal problem of illness hold a special place in my heart.
