Sometimes… Finding Hope in a Chaotic World
Sometimes, the world feels hopeless. If the inflammatory opinions that dominate modern media are to be believed, we’re in a dire situation. But over the years, I’ve come to understand that things are rarely as they seem. And after decades spent searching for ways to heal my own wounds and traumas, I’ve realized that the most profound healing practices revolve around one simple yet powerful force: love.
I believe—wholeheartedly—that love is more active than ever in these chaotic times. But, as is often the case, love works quietly. It doesn’t demand attention. It doesn’t boast. Instead, it moves gently, touching one heart at a time, one life at a time, one day at a time.
So, for every power-hungry, fear-driven, attention-seeking individual making headlines, could there also be a growing movement of heart-centered, love-driven people working to heal and reconnect our fractured world? For every divisive voice amplified by the media, might there be countless others quietly choosing kindness, compassion, and understanding?
A Quiet but Powerful Movement
I have faith that far more people are working toward healing and kindness than mainstream media acknowledges. I’ve witnessed too many moments of quiet yet miraculous transformation to believe that love has abandoned humanity. And I refuse to believe that I am one of only a few rare souls devoted to this mission.
That’s why I created SomeTimes.
Here, my goal is to uncover and share evidence of the loving kindness and global healing I believe is taking place—right now, all around us. Love saved me from the grips of abuse and self-loathing, the very core of the illnesses that once threatened my life. I have no doubt that love can redeem anyone. In fact, I believe it can redeem all of us.
Stories of Survival, Healing, and Hope
Sometimes, life is unfair. Sometimes, we face trauma, illness, and adversity that seem insurmountable. But sometimes, we find the strength to survive, heal, recover, and thrive.
At SomeTimes, I am committed to telling these stories. While most media platforms focus on tragedy and bad news, I choose to focus on hope.
Because sometimes, the world is a cruel, unfair place. But sometimes, it’s filled with love, generosity, and kindness.
And sometimes, that’s all we need to believe in a better future.
